  • No account required: Rooted does not require you to create an account or sign in.

What Rooted Does Not Collect

  • Rooted does not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
  • Rooted does not track what you read or how often you read.
  • Rooted does not sell or share your data with third parties.
  • Rooted does not use advertising or ad-tracking frameworks.

Analytics

Rooted may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to help us understand general usage patterns and improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Rooted may use the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Scripture Text

Rooted uses the World English Bible (WEB), a modern English translation in the public domain. The Bible text is included within the app and does not require an internet connection to read.

Data Storage

All of your data — reading progress, highlights, notes, favorites, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to any server.

If you delete the app, your locally stored data will be removed from your device.

Children's Privacy

Rooted is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
